The view from Brian Miller's camera is always engaging. As a photographer,
editor, and producer he brings his experience to projects worldwide.
When behind the camera, Brian has the innate ability to put the viewer
in his shoes allowing them to become part of the experience. From the
LA Riots and covering stories overseas to shooting the day-to-day experiences
of "Real World" and documenting the story of the music sensation *NSYNC,
Brian's footage reflects a fascinating and in-depth perspective.
A video photographer and editor since 1986, Brian started Wide Angle
T.V. with the goal of expanding on his news experience. Through his
reputation for a creative product and a collaborative work style he
has developed a regular client list that includes major networks, entertainment
groups and numerous companies both nationally and internationally.
From 1987-1998, Brian was a general assignment news photojournalist
with KIRO-TV, the CBS affiliate in Seattle, Washington. During that
time he shot and edited numerous special projects including two award-winning,
one-hour environmental documentaries. He also photographed news stories
in Vietnam, Russia and London, along with periodic assignments with
the Health and Consumer units.
A two-time recipient of the Emmy, he has also won numerous awards from
the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA), Associated Press
(AP), Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ), and the New York International
Film Festival.
Brian began his career at KPAX-TV in Missoula, MT as a general assignment
news photojournalist. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communications
from Washington State University's Edward R. Murrow School of Communication
and a Minor in Music.
